Email Productivity Tip: Check this out

One of my Aussie mates read my latest ezine with tips on how to be more productive with email and she sent this note along:

"I use a CRM for my kate@triberesearch.com.au email which is great for a team environment and I can access when I am not in the office, but it doesn’t deal with html email very well and doesn’t have the “review later” functionality that Outlook has.

Therefore you only want real work emails going to it. So we set up a bunch of generic email addresses that are collected at 1 computer in Outlook and directed to various relevant sub-folders - ask, news, info, workshops, mail, etc. I can then sit down once a week and read the newsletters of interest in 1 sitting when I want to and I am not even aware of them coming in the rest of the time. I also have the emails of several groups that I am a member of going to the Outlook and they are forwarded to me by my team if they consider I need to action them quickly. Oh, I also have personal ones going to a separate Outlook like you suggest."

Thanks Kate from Tribe Research - you are the best for sharing.
